Who we are

Shikshak Sahyog ("the platform", "we") is a free, non-commercial, community-run resource-sharing site for CBSE teachers. Shikshak Sahyog is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CBSE, NCERT, or any government body.

What this platform is for

Teachers share and download teaching resources organised by Subject → Grade → Chapter → Topic. Access to download a subject's library is earned by contributing approved resources to that subject ("contribute-to-access"). No payment is ever required or accepted.

Original-work declaration

By uploading a file, you confirm each time that: "This is my original work, or I have the legal right to share it, and sharing it here does not infringe anyone else's copyright." Uploading material you don't have the right to share may result in removal of the file and suspension of your account.

Content licence

You retain ownership of resources you upload. By uploading, you grant Shikshak Sahyog and its verified teacher users a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and let other verified teachers download and use your resource for their own classroom teaching, for as long as it remains on the platform. Resources are for classroom teaching use only — not for resale or redistribution outside the platform.

Community rules & moderation

Do not upload content you lack rights to share, miscategorised or spam content, low-quality material, or anything inappropriate or unlawful. Every resource can be reported; reports are reviewed by moderators/admins. Repeat or severe violations lead to account suspension or ban, with reasons logged for audit purposes.

Credits & access

New verified accounts receive a small signup bonus of credits to preview the platform. Full download access to a subject's library unlocks once you have the required number of approved uploads in that subject. Credits and access are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Privacy

What we collect: name, email, country, state/city (optional), school, mobile number (optional), subjects taught, your hashed password (we never store or see it in plaintext), and the resources/ratings/comments/reports you submit, plus basic technical logs for security.

What we don't do: we never sell your data, never display your email or mobile number publicly. The public leaderboard shows only your name, school, and country — unless you opt out, in which case you appear as "Anonymous Teacher". Email is used only for verification and essential account/moderation notifications, never marketing.

Your choices: opt out of the public leaderboard any time from your dashboard, or contact the admin to request a copy of your data or account deletion.
